You can delete your NoteSathi account, made by Turtle Techsai, at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. To keep your notes, first open Account and tap Download my data.
Delete it in the app
- Open NoteSathi.
- Tap the profile button at the top right of the home screen.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Tap Delete forever. If you signed in with Google, you'll be asked to confirm with Google too.
You are signed out straight away and can't sign in again. Your data is erased from our servers within 24 hours. The recordings on this phone are deleted too, and the app starts over as a new, empty account.
Deleting only some recordings
Long-press a recording on the home screen and choose Delete. Its audio, transcript and notes are removed from your phone and our servers.
No longer have the app?
Email contact@turtletechsai.com with the subject "Delete my NoteSathi account". Include your User ID (shown in the app under Account) or the Google email you signed in with. We may ask a question to confirm the account is yours, then delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
What is deleted
- Your account: the guest identifier, your Google sign-in link, email and name, your settings, plan and remaining hours.
- All recordings and imported files, transcripts, notes and their versions, and everything made from them (quizzes, flashcards, mind maps, audio recaps and your questions).
- App activity linked to your account, and crash reports linked to it.
What is kept, and for how long
- Backups may still contain your data for up to 14 days, then it is gone.
- Server logs (IP address, request times, errors) are kept for up to 30 days for security.
- Purchase and invoice records are kept as long as tax law requires, without your recordings or notes. Google Play, the App Store, RevenueCat and Razorpay keep their own records under their policies.
- Recording-consent confirmations are kept only if and as long as the law requires us to show that consent was given.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought in the app. Cancel it in the Play Store (profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions) or on iPhone (Settings, your name, Subscriptions) so you are not charged again. Plans bought on this website are cancelled with your account.
